i don't use 3dsmax, but i know many users make plugins for it.  i was
wondering if anyone has tried (or even if it is possible) to make a
plugin that does conversion to povray and then renders using povray. 
the reason i ask is that it seems to me that if there were some way for
die hard users of other renderers (usually packaged with modellers) to
sample povray, then pov would become more popular and both communities
could benefit through such an association.
