This may be a bit off topic - sorry, but it seemed best to put it up
here. I am looking for the lparser front ends I hear about here and
there - I can't seem to find them and, while DOS is wonderful, I hate
having to do the ALT-TAB maneuver all the time (and hate to have a
nicely small terminal window as well). So if they do exist, I would like
to know where.
Thanks and happy tracing,

All of the Lparser/Lsystem resources I know of can be found by
following this link -

Hmm...didn't find a front end from those - perhaps I was simply dreaming :)

I think there is a Lparser front end at the Lparser home page.

to the lparser/viewer your familiar with. There is also a few more examples
included. If you can't find it first, I will try to figure out where I got
and let you all know.

I found the self extracting .exe file on my system then used file ferret to
come up with the following location:
ftp://ftp.ogo.ru/pub/cooler.irk.ru/lsystem4.exe
I did not attempt to open it from that location, though.
Please let me know if you can't get it or if it isn't what I think it is. I
will put the file out on the web somewhere if I have to. LParser is a pretty
cool program.
We are up to our armpits in 3d graphics programmers here; it would be cool
to see someone make a more sophisticated Lsystem based plant program for
POV, don't you know. Anyone game?
Anyway, let me know if that ftp site is no good.

Also, I found where I originally found it: www.thinkpiece.com but it appears
to be a dead link. We should find a home for this file on the internet.

Is it the same as the one Ken indicated?
The direct link to the file would be:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~ljlapre/lparser4.zip

That is a link to the author of lparser, I can't find any other links with
the Windows version though.
