Writing down debug stream with pen on paper (Message 1 to 8 of 8)

I was working on a complex animation. While fixing the algorithm, I had
it spit out lots of information on my variables using the #debug
commands. Unfortunately, this debugged information is only available on
screen; I cannot print or copy & paste it.

Is there any way around this/

Include this in the povray.ini

Debug_File=true Echo debug info text to DEBUG.OUT

On the Macintosh version of MegaPOV, there is an option to direct each
or any message stream to a file instead of the screen. You might see if
this option is available in your version of POV.

In addition to what was already said POV-Ray for Windows has a Edit/Copy Pane
in the menu when the Messages tab is selected.

Ha! I did not see this option in my at-home version last night...

Well, it *is* there. I just checked.

Start up POV with no scene loaded, go to the Edit menu, and there in all
it's glory is the copy pane option (Ctrl+Ins)

Bye for now,
     Jamie.

But it only works with the 3.1g interface. It doesn't work with any version
before 3.1g, or with versions of the SuperPatch before 3.1g, with any
version of UVPov, or with versions of MegaPov before 5.0a.

Dang, do you think Nathan will get to 5.0a before he retires?
