After I posted the URL of the  "Wet bird Making of" last Sunday, I
couldn't resist looking at the connections stats (ego strikes again).
410 different hosts had a look at the first page in 8 days, and the
results are somewhat surprising. The numbers are the number of hosts
(the bias being that the same person may appear under different host
names).
It looks that there is a very good reason why there has been a Japanese
povray book and why POV-Ray was granted a long review in a Japanese
magazine. But what about these many Polish users ? Is POV-Ray
particularly popular in Poland ?

Kidding apart, this could be the case. Some "unresolved" IP are actually
solved by tracert. However, the few I tested so far were either Japanese or
Polish...

This is not unusual, according to what I have heard.
Having detailed information about connections on my domain, I have such
visits sometimes (and also .gov, .us and the like).
