This is how I think the schedule for the POV-Ray Logo Contest could be.
Dates can be changed if needed. Does it seem like a good enough schedule?

Week 17 - week 18:
Discussion about why POV-Ray should have a logo, and what the purpose of the
logo should be.

Week 19 - week 20:
Discussion about which general qualities the logo should have.

Week 21 - week 22:
Discussion about which concrete and technical requirement the logos should
fulfill, and in which formats the logos should be submitted.

Week 23 - week 24:
Discussion about which guidelines to follow when improving logos, and in
cases of conflicts between different opinions.

June 19 - October 31:
The logos are created. Improvements are done in the same period,
continuously.

November 1:
All logos must be submitted at this point.

November 1 - November 30:
preparements for the voting are done.

December 1 - December 31:
Voting.
