It depends on the context.
  I use the left-handed system in povray. I type pov-scripts with both hands
(neither one types more letters than the other in the average). IRL I'm
right-handed.

I have some ambidexterity, like throwing and batting with left (baseball
example), but no ability to write left handed and not great otherwise either.

I know there are tests, because they figured prominently in a study
I posted the URL for over in .off-topic in the dreaded "Discrimination" 
thread.  I don't recall whether they mentioned the specifics of the
test or not.
