I do not recall seeing this one reported in the bug reports group
nor could I find any reference to it there.

The error manifests itself as a black pixelated line on the objects
surface on the same plane and level as the camera sits.

With or without the use of the sturm keyword the error is evident
when using POV-Ray for Windows v3.1g on a Pentium 200 Win98 platform.

It should be noted however that the same object does render properly
using POV-Ray v2.2 for DOS and in POV-Ray for Windows v3.01.watcom.win32
either with or without the sturm keyword. This suggests a strong possiblity
that it is indeed a version related bug - known or unknown.

I've never seen it before, and I thought I'd seen all of the "black pixelated
line" bugs.

It problem also appears in the Twin_Glob 6th order poly object from the
shapesq.inc file that is included with the distribution of POV-Ray.

I'll send in a bug report on this.

It also happens in the unix version, so it's not platform dependant
(shouldn't be a surprise, though).

It's also not related to epsilon, for whatever that's worth.
