I'll be spending both 2000 and 2001 parties with my friends I think,
regardless of which one is *seen* as the millennium party.

I just find it disappointing that some people don't get what I mean and
actually think the new millennium starts at the start of the year 2000, and
not the real start which is at the start of 2001.

Oh well, I guess the human race will just have to go on being intoxicated by
the media.  The name "Millennium Bug" doesn't help the situation either ;-)

  I don't want to be in any place where there are lots of people when
the year changes. Something _might_ go wrong and panic will follow...

The real Millennium Bug is the one in people's brains that makes them think
a bunch of zeros is the start of a new millennium.
