As always, I am willing to help all I can. Here is my rendetion of a replacement.
As you'll notice there are some slightly plagerized tones in it. This is just a
quick draft put together this afternoon. I hope you like it. It obviously has
room for improvement. Although, after seeing Fabien's image, it almost seems
stupid to post this. Here' goes nothing... =)

PS: The last shape is a yellow torus. I hope you see it well. I think I should
change the color.

Forgot to mention. The image is divided entirely into layers, with alpha channels for
everything (except primitives), so it can be completely redesigned quickly for mods
or future versions. The image is actually 478x170 and looks great at that size. Made
with Adobe Photoshop and POV. Just in case you wanted to know. :)

Here's another. Used same dimensions, 88 by 31; odd size isn't it? Oh
well. Like the 3 I've seen so far, keep them coming guys. I kinda
dislike the current one, probably because it lacks a mirrored sphere.

And here's the animated one.
30 frames, 15 frames rendered which is POV-Ray stuff. 44K file size.
PSP Animation Shop was used to compile the animation with added "stained
glass" lightbeam effect to the last frame, extended to 15 more frames.
Although the looping is somewhat lost by doing this the small embedded
animation didn't exactly loop anyhow since to get a large amount of
movement smooth enough didn't work out for this particular thing (the
checkered plane and mirrored sphere) so I had it appear to reach the
surface and begin again.
There may be better ways, but this is the quickly done version.

My schoolmates pointed out to me today that every single part of the Intel logo
is registered, trademarked or copywrited in some way, so this one is definitely
out. I'm going to try to make another one soon.

Here's the new one. It's completely separated and modifyable. For sake of having a
little border, I expanded the image by 2 pixels in X and Y, so it's currently
92x34. I hope you like it. I think it should be borderless. Anyhoo...

Hi Bob,

I love the scattering media in there, and I prefer the animated to the still
version
although no doubt I'd have added sound ;-) ). Not sure about the pink and green
though.

I like this one, but if I didn't know what POV-Ray was it would
be hard to read with the effects going on. I can see "get 3" clear
enough. Losing the border might give you a little more room.
You could do a box flush to the upper left and still casts the shadow
on the bottom right with a bit more room for your animation.
Just an idea...
