Hi !
I recently downloaded Textedit at :
http://www.cpod.com/monoweb/mazan/anglais/en_sommaire.htm
But it won't work and crashes after it asks me the location of pvengine
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong ?
Thanks
Suppose you already checked about default POV-Ray directory....?
If you installed to another location.
I don't know that editor program so can't help with it.
PS did you actually post this message Sept. 12th 1999? Or am I
picking up on old news? I checked message properties and it appears
current there.

I see a date of april 12 99 Bob.
Perhaps it is a problem with the program being written for Pov v3.0 and not
for Pov v 3.1 ?

Hmmm.... April 12th is what I see here. No matter I guess, probably
this darned news reader anyway.
Definately sounds like a POV-Ray installation thing, either the
registry getting seen wrong because of different versions or not a
default directory.

If it is any consolation I downloaded it and I cannot even get the program
to install without crashing with an invalid page fault. It doesn't even get
to a point where it asks me anything.

I did set my computer date on the 12 th on purpose ( To use Rhino which
I can not afford )
But as a try I'll put it up to date (so to say) to see if it works with
POV 3.1g
Thanks

Same here: I don't remember exactly what happened, but I basically could
not even try it.
