Having seen the way that a particular subject can inspire a great many posts ( swords
for
example ), why not have a monthly theme, sort of like the irtc, but for models rather
than
entire scenes?
Personally, I'm not a modellor of real-world objects, prefering abstract designs, but
clearly a great many of you are very talented modellors. There's nothing like a little
healthy competition, although I don't think there needs to be an overall winner, or a
voting system.
It would be a great way of stocking a huge pov-objects library, if someone was
prepared to
host it ( yes, I know these exist, but they're hardly vast ).

Theme for April? Oh..I don't know...how about telephones, mobile or otherwise.

Right then..of you go.

How about calling it the POVRay Modelling Contest, or PRMC? The prize is that
everybody
believes in you for a month and the object gets added to the cream of the crop of the
object
collection. I'm in. I'm not a great modeller, but I have a few nice things sitting on
my HD. I
actually made some glasses recently. I'll post to images and animations shortly.
