I'm working here at TUT (Tampere University of Technology) for the course
of computer graphics. The students have to do three works: The first work
is related to POV-Ray (surprise :) ) and the second work is related to
Gimp or Photoshop (and you have to use the result of the first work in it).
The third work is a programming task.
The goal was to make a CD cover. In the first part they had to make cool
3D letters with povray, which were used in the second, which is the actual
CD cover making (with gimp or photoshop).
In the povray work it was not allowed to use any modeller or utility
program.
The results of the first two works are available. If you want to see them,
go to http://www.cs.tut.fi/~tgraf/harjoitustyot/kevat99/
The first two images are mine. The next five pairs of images are the
best ones (the authors received extra points). After that comes a link list
to all the works.
