I have some FLI animations I made several years ago with POV-RAY and I am
wondering if anyone knows of a program that will convert the FLI format to
something else? Preferably a series of GIF frames, but most other formats
will work as a middle step.
Unfortunately I don't have my source code, so re-rendering isn't an option.
:)
Daves Targa Animator can take a fli as input and extract to various
image formats (gif unfortunately isn't one of them).
One method would be to output as DIB and compile as AVI in MS VidEdit
(Full Frames only or you'll get garbled compression) and finally as
imported video into GIF Construction Set. Depends entirely though upon
which programs your willing to use and through what process.
For all I know there may be one to convert directly from FLI to animated
GIF. A search of the 'net wouldn't hurt to find out I guess.
