Greetings !
I'm attempting to translate a pov file that has #declare's written
in French. I'm hoping one of the French speaking people that frequent
this group will be kind enough to provide me with the English equivilants
for the words listed below. I have some ideas as to what they mean but
instead of embarrasing myself I think it wiser to to just ask.
Arbres = Tree ?
Feuille =
Taille =
Moyen =
Ecart =
Alea =
Allure =
Branche = Branch
Thank you,

OK, someone should check these, these are my interpretations...
Arbres = Trees
Feuille = Break into lower levels? (number of levels?)
Taille = Cut (subdivide)
Moyen = Means (averages)
Ecart = Variation
Alea = NO IDEA!!!
Allure = Pace (Spacing maybe?)
Branche = Branch
I'm probably just made myself look stupid... ;-)
Hope it helps a little anyway... there will hopefully be someone more
informed :)
Lance.

Well, I speak french, so let's see if I can give this a try. Of course, some
of the meanings will depend on the context, but the fac that you have tree
and branch should give me a pretty good idea.

bearing. In this case, I assume it's bearing.

Hope that helps,
If that doesn't clarify something, perhaps you can give the snippet of code
so I can try to make more sense of it.

In case anybody is interested I'm trying to translate the tree.inc
file at the following link:
http://www.chez.com/pidou/arbres.htm
If successful I might be making yet another tree macro out of this.
Cheers !

Yes sir. I got a return of maybe 40% of the words entered and the majority
of those are dissimilar with the answers I recieved from the native speakers
of the tounge. When in doubt go with the live body I always say - sometimes.
