I once heard that many people want
a CD texture suitable for animation.
I tried to make one, and I posted it in
povray.text.scene-files.
It is not finished solution, so if you
have improvements, please post them
here (or there).
Let me hear what you think.

Amazing!
I havn't figured it out yet, but I'm sold.
The next problem is how to get sound out of POV-Ray.

When I'm doing a particuraly difficult piece of
coding in Pov my wife hears all kinds of sounds
coming from me running the program :)

How old are you Ken? I'm just interested in the age groups using POV-Ray.
Are there many "young" people out there using it??? It seems most of the
POVers are older...

Come on everyone, lets have a show of hands... (and ages :)
If you don't want to, it's fine with me, I'm just curious.

Oh yeah, that's right, I also wanted to say I've had a few good results in
the past using reflection mapping in MAX with a frozen UVW mapper... Could
this be done with POV-Ray??? They have to be inversely normalised to the
lights in the scene...

I'm 22, but like Twyst I feel *really* old when I come home and my high-school
sister is hanging out with her friends. Durn whipersnappers, stay outta my
room!

I'm 20. What do you mean by "older"? Like "elderly citizens"? :P
I'll probably look like one before this year-end madness is over & I finally
get some sleep... (sigh)

From the replies to this thread I can safely say I'm ancient
and if all of you think you feel old now just wait 20 years.
I was graduating high school when most of you were still wearing
diapers and your moms were wiping drool from your faces.

Age - 20 years + 240 months
