What is it about statistics, anyway?! I studied it last year and
actually considered making POV plugins for all the distribution types!
Damned if I know what use that would have been...

Actually, I was frightened when I realized that the atmospheric
distributions are actually statistically random distributions that I
recognized from class (not the same names, but the same distributions) 
Actually you could get some interesting procedural results that way I
think.
