I have never seen this happen with Netscape 4.5 Newsreader.
Are you opening a Netscape message window (a double-click on the subject
title) for each message?

I should mention that I am using linux/debian/hamm/i686. I
tried
overiding Netscape's "internal" jpg handler to use XV, but
that, it
seems, also does not work as expected.
Oh well. 5.0 is out rsn ;-)
I wonder if anyone is counting the number of times that the
word
"linux" or the word "Linux" or the word "LINUX" is counted
on
this new server ?
