The web page said that you should be able to run the old, but the new
version prevents this. I considered this as a bug.
And the "Use tiny captions" doesn't work. There's a bug. :)
I'll re-post in povray.general. Thanks.

The POV Home page makes metion that if you want to use some of the
features from 3.02, that you keep it installed. I installed 3.1a into a
different directory, and now I can't run the older version. I get a
"cannot find INI directory in expected location" error. Any
suggestions?

This is due to a registry setting. With two different POV home directorys,
the program is confused. You can export one home directory and then you
would select a .reg file before you start each one.
Here is how you do it. Start regedit through run in Windows. Go to this
key.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\POV-Ray\Windows.
Export this branch to a file. Name the file something like
POV_versionname.reg.
While in that directory modify the home string for your other version.
Export your modified branch to a file. When you have both exported all you
do is run one or the other reg file, before your start a version of POV-Ray.
You should export your entire registry for a backup in case you mess up.
It's a good idea to keep a backup of your registry if you don't do this as
well.
