Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd mention that a magazine called DIGIT (published by IDG)
is giving away the full version of Amapi Studio 3.0 modeller on it's cover
CD (issue #7). I haven't had a chance to use it much yet, but it exports in
19 formats, one of which is pov 3. I've tried this, and it works fine.
I don't know if it's avaliable outside the UK, but software originally
month ago.
All the best,
Andy C.

Does that mean it can be distributed legally? (like putting is on the net
without breaking the law, for us who live in the U.S. ....)
Probably not. I had to ask, though.

You can check it out yourself at www.tgs.com .
I'm sure it's not freely distributable as in 'freeware', just probably
licensed to that particular mag. They're only being so generous as version
4.0 is now available and they're offering a reduced upgrade. In my somewhat
limited experience, and having seen examples of what can be done within the
modellor, it seems extremely capable to me.
See ya,
Andy C.

They dropped Unix support so I can't use it as work or at home... :(

If you have the opportunity to have the full version of Amapi 3.0 , don't
loose it. It's quit powerfull and very intuitive even if there's always
some little boring bugs on the PC version (Amapi is Mac-born). So use it a
lot but don't forget to save often your creation.
The versions for linux stop in 2.xx, don't rem exactly.
