I have tried compiling the chess.pov file that comes with povray 3.0,
but it produces an error when it gets to the camera statement. I have
not been able to find one. Can anyone help?

I am continually amazed that seemingly a majority of
postings to these groups, whether they are images or questions,
receive a thoughtful and useful response from Ken within 15 minutes
of posting. But this time he has managed to respond one minute BEFORE the
question was posted. Impressive! :)

Even more amazing... you read my mind with ESP or something (referring to the
"one minute before"), I was just wondering the same thing a bit ago.
It is quite noticable that Ken, Dan, Ron and perhaps a few others are always
posting here, and at c.g.r.r. too.

Gee I hope you guys have some sort of life at home. The autumn colors have
come and gone, just so you know.

Probably directly plugged into your cortex, with a booster that makes it
possible to connect through a subspace-conduit to another instance of this
time-space-continuum.
Next step is to use that for rendering. The image already being rendered before
you finish the scenefile. It's all there already, somewhere...
