This might be a feature-request or an absolute blindspot at my part but wouldn't
it be nice if you could have a font-dialog to pick the font you want to use for
a text-object. If such a thing is already implemented please give me a pointer
because I haven't been able to find it. 

(no rush, I don't _really_ need it right now ;-))

   It's currently not a feature of Pov. On the other hand you
could call an external font viewing program by use of the tools
menu. I have a couple of font utilities on my system somewhere
and I know they are simple small programs that do nothing more
than let you look at the fonts you have installed on your system
and show an example of what they look like. You could probably
find a similar program at http://www.filepile.com
