I've finished up my neatly polished unofficial distribution of POV-Ray
3.1 for i386 Linux.  It's a bit of a hybrid of 3.1 for MS-DOS and 3.02
for Linux, though I've tested it reasonably thoroughly, and it seems to
work OK.  Sample files, source, documentation, povlegal, etc. are all
available.  I'm pretty sure I'm entirely within the license terms.  Let
me know if I'm not, and I'll try to get compliant.

This is an unofficial distribution, and the POV-Ray team is under no
obligation to provide any support for it.  Contact me for support.  My
email address is sprinkled liberally throughout various documents in the
distribution, and reasonably gory detail of the modifications is

I feel reasonably safe in assuming that anyone who reads this group
knows where to get the official distribution if they want it. ;-)
