To all TreeDesigner users:
Unfortunately the release-version of TreeDesigner has been delayed longer
than planned.
But don't fear! You can continue using the current beta version [Final Beta
(4)] for another month, if you enter the following password in the
timeout-messagebox that appears the first time you start TreeDesigner after
the expiration date. The password is:
Rainbow
What is TreeDesigner anyway?
TreeDesigner is a Win32 (W95/98/NT) application to graphically generate and
model trees, plants and other objects (likes pipes, tubing, tentacles,
sceletons etc.). It uses OpenGL to give you a full 3D view of your model
while you modify it and an intuitive mouse-based interface for modeling.
It lets you export the models in POV-Ray, Moray, DXF and 3DS format to
include into your scenes.
Not satisfied with the various tree and plant generators that generate more
or less random plants? You want a tree that fits your scene and not be
forced to fit your scene around a randomly generated tree?
Then you should try TreeDesigner: While it contains two different random
tree-generators (one random-based and one L-System based generator) it is
also focused on letting you manipulate every single trunk, branch, twig and
even leaf of the tree: You decide the exact alignment, size, angle, radius
etc.

Greetings,
Johannes.
