Greetings-

I've recently benn using pov 3.1 and unfortunately have deleted the 3.0
version...so now I have to learn the the idiosyncracies of 3.1
My question is when using the glass textures I get a warning about the
interior statement.
I've been reviewing the documentation as often as possible, but as where
to exactly place this interior statement has me 'flummoxed'
Since I've discarded the old 3.0 version learning how to use the 3.1
version has been very challenging especially the new features.
I'd also like to know if anyone would have some examples of how to
create a halo with the new media statement. It just so happens that I
was learning how to make flames and smoke with the halo statement in
version 3.0
I'd also like to say that I'm very grateful for this 3d freeware as I
cannot even afford PaintShop Pro 5.0 for my brother's computer that I'm
currently using and buying a commercial 3d rendering would be completely
out of my league.

Best Regards,

I understand that the POV team is going to make a change
to make it easier when the 3.1 official release comes out but
this will work for now.
  Here is an example of how to make glass in pov 3.1beta.

object{My_Object
  pigment{rgbf 1}
     finish{ what you like here }
        interior{ior 1.5}}

The interior statement need only appear somewhere within
the normal body of an object statement to work correctly.
