Hello everybody.
I have a problem with CMPEG. Whenever I try to make an animation, it
spews out a mpg file that looks horrible. I don't know how many colors
it has, but it looks like it has either sixteen, or 256(at the very
best). And I mean *horrible* Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Is there a command line switch or something? I use 2 different MPEG
players(both work normally on IRTC entries), and they both show the
animation horribly. Is this a result of overcompression? If so, how do
I tone the compression down?

Hmm, weird. Could be compression although it would have to be HUGE to do
something like that! Are the input files 24bit colour (I take it they are
of CMPEG wouldn't run). Try editting the I configuration file and setting
the compression to 2 or 4 etc. Refer to the docs about the compression
system and using I, B and P frames. That's all I can think of at the
moment.
