I have no idea why is it so fast. I just tried it again:
nethack3.1.3.tar.gz: 2086286 bytes received in 1.67 seconds, 1221.76 K/s.
I am in assari.cc.tut.fi and that nethack-file is located at ftp.funet.fi.
I don't know which type of line there is from here to outer world.

Well, no way I can get that sort of speeds, still the new POV-Ray site looks
much faster than it used to be. That's only my feeling after a few trials
here in Ireland.
