Not sure if this was asked or mentioned ... is it possible
to render a scene in a panoramic view??
Also I would like to say thanks to the Authors of this
newsgroup .. I couldn't get access for awhile but I am
back. I was having nightmares about not ever being able
to read the povnews again ... whew .. glad that bad
dream is over.

Yep, it's definately possible with POV-Ray 3.x!!!  In fact it's one of the
best features added!

Just add one of the following keywords into the camera definition:
perspective, orthographic, fisheye, ultra_wide_angle, omnimax, panoramic,
cylinder 1

These can be used in combination with the angle keyword too.  Read the
POV-Ray docs for more info.
