The source is available at ftp://ftp.povray.org , and it is written in K&R C
(I think it's K & R anyway, might be a variation).

Hi,
It has been carefully written so that it can be compiled with an ANSI C
compiler or K&R compiler (that's why there's a PARAMS(...) macro all over
the place ;-)
