Has anyone had their computer freeze while selecting text in version 3.1? I
am having to be very careful what I do these days so that I don't freeze my
computer on account of this problem. Is there a way to cause povray not to
show colorful text> Maybe that is the problem...

I do have some problems with the codemax properties on occassion.
It doesn't lock up my computer but it does kill the currnet session.
You can turn off the syntax highlighting by right clicking on the 
desktop choose properties, language tab and change from language povray
to none and all of your on screen text should go black.
