fwiw, I'd write:

#fopen FOOBAR "my_file.txt" read
#read(FOOBAR,AAA)
#fclose FOOBAR
object{MY_OBJ rotate AAA}

no functional difference/reason.

try the above.  (intruding on clipka's territory here) think of the
(re-)"#declare" of 'AAA' happening "inside" the #read.

(now you've got me using quotes too..  ;-))
