Have you tried to hold down the control-key while selecting it with the right mouse key and then choose open?

Normaly you should get another dialog to open the app.

I no longer have a developer ID but it is safe to open if you dowload it from the site.

If it still doesn't work, please e-mail me direct and I'll see what i can do.

Hi Yvo,  I downloaded the build for my M2.  It won't run, and the dialog states:

"“POVRay 3.7.0.x.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for

malicious software."  Then in the second paragraph:

"This software needs to be updated.  Contact the developer for more

information."

I'm on Ventura 13.6.6. Do you have any ideas how to get this to work?

Thanks!

Both versions run on system 10.9.5 and later, Intel and Apple Silicon (M1).

These are universal binaries.

I have compiled these versions for myself but may as well share them

with those interested.

The old site is no longer updated, the person who gave our site a place

has disappeared from the face of the earth.

Many years ago, thanks to 'ABX', we got in touch with him but 'ABX' has

also disappeared from the face of the earth...

We can only hope that they have other interests and are still alive and

well somewhere...

Time does not stand still, things change
