The installer runs good, on 2k Advanced (32Bit) server I get a message, the App
is not a suitable Win32 Application.
On Server 2003 Ultimate (32Bit) it says7 "DecoderPointer" was not found in
"kernel32.dll"
The error messages has being translated from German error-messages. I am not
sure, if I found the same words for it, as used in original-English.
Ps.: All older versions (3.1, 3.5 and 3.6) are running good!
Best rgds,
Holger :)

did you check in the installation folder which binary actually
got installed (32 bit vs. 64 bit)? It sounds like there could be
a problem in the installer that the bitness is not correctly
detected for server editions.
Chris: How do you test this in your NSIS script? I found
checking for PROCESSOR_ARCHITEW6432 to be quite reliable
(this is presented to the 32 bit NSIS process on x64).

I've checked all three. After that, I've installed the software on a normal
WinXP32 took the executables, and tested them under the servers - none has
worked.

Are these servers very old machines (guessing from the old OSes)?
In that case they might not support SSE2 instructions.

http://supermicro.com/products/system/4U/8044/SYS-8044T-8R.cfm
It's supporting SSE2. But even if not, shouldn't the non-sse2 version run
instead?

RC3 is working, but only HALF of the cores...

Can it be, it's limited and something different then?
I've read, the installer is checking automatically the version (32, or 64Bit).
Maybe the problem is somewhere to find in here? I guess the count of CPUs will
be fixed (if not already is) later.
Best regards,
Holger :)
