Hi;

Reading the POV-Ray for Windows documentation (that comes with version
3.1d), section "Basic Knowledge/Special Command-Line Options", I find
this:

"Note that in all the above cases, if you are using an operating system
that supports long filenames (such as Windows 95), and the filename has
spaces in it, then you will need to enclose the filename itself within
quotes."

I have tried to call pvengine.exe with the following parameter:

+i"C:\Winnt\POV-Ray for Windows v3.1\scenes\csg\granite.pov"

...but not succeeded at all(trying different types of quotation marks).
I get

"INI file error.
Bad option syntax or error opening .INI/.DEF file 'for'"

This should work according to the documentation, but could also be me
that has misunderstood the whole thing.

My system:

PII400/WinNT4.0 SP3
POV-Ray for Windows 3.1d.msvc.win32 (Pentium II optimized)

  I have not tried, but perhaps it might work this way:

"+iC:\Winnt\POV-Ray for Windows v3.1\scenes\csg\granite.pov"

  Or this way:

+i "C:\Winnt\POV-Ray for Windows v3.1\scenes\csg\granite.pov"

--
main(i){char*_="BdsyFBThhHFBThhHFRz]NFTITQF|DJIFHQhhF";while(i=
*_++)for(;i>1;printf("%s",i-70?i&1?"[]":" ":(i=0,"\n")),i/=2);} /*- Warp -*/

Doubt either will work at a DOS prompt or such. Think maybe the DOC
means under Windows in the Command-line dialog.
