Here's a program for generating certain kinds of unique, tileable textures. It
will output to 16-bit gray scale PNG images (not the red & green ones) that you
can use in your scene files or favorite height_field editing programs.
The method places thousands of pixel "strands" between structures using value
interpolation, filling up space until you have a usable texture. The output
often resembles natural phenomena like roots, crystalline surfaces, broken
rocks, etc. It will output to resolutions between 512x512 and 4096x4096. I have
also provided a couple of example POV-Ray scenes and an include file for
producing proximity effects straight from images, as well as a blur pattern.
I hope I've included all the necessary .dll files this time :)
