I wrote this program with my ancient microsoft windows visual c++ 6.0 
compiler as an updated version of the "hopalong" program from the Sep 1986 
Scientific American article (I got that issue as part of my ongoing 
subscription-->yes I am that old).  I figured some of the POV community 
might want to use it to make background images, as image_maps, height 
fields, etc. Will post one or two pics on binaries.images later on.  Enjoy
