all i have is Photo Suite L or something....its really slow and i dont like
how it alters the image after i convert it from BMP.  can any one recommend
a good program that will convert images for me?

	The gimp does it very well and allows you to preview the image before
saving to see how the parameters affect the result:

/me luvs da gimp!  Available for windows and linux too.

Something else you might want to try is xnview, a very powerful (and free)
image browser/converter.  Handles over 100 different formats and has a nice
batch conversion feature too.
