Nice.
The interface is exactly how I would make a Visual NetPBM.

Interesting program.

I have not been able to generate a maximum size heightfield (4096x4096)
due to the enormous memory use (>350 Mb).

Apart from that a lot of program functions look very nice, but the missing
documentation is quite a problem. I'm also missing a 16 bit Integer
export function (png or pgm).

I would seriously let the guy know, he claims it's only in Beta and he
might add some functionality for us? hehe... :o)

Oh! Just make sure we praise it too if we give him feedback! :)

I e-mailed him last night and he says there might be support for 16-bit
.TGAs in the next release. See thread in p.o.t.

PNG or PGM would be much better, TGA always wastes 1/3 of space.

I'd rather that- since TGA is used by *every* program I own, and PNG is
only used by some of the latest. BOTH would be ideal, but failing that,
HD space and memory for me are non issues.

And besides, even with my AMD 1800+ PNG decoding is S L O W compared to
TGA... that's a rugged compression to get in to.
