Courtesy of Michael D Johnson, where ever he may be. Places text on a curve in
a variety of orientations. Contains a sample scene file, and the .inc file is
adequately commented. It is set up for Times Roman font, since it requires a
predefined width table, and Mr. Johnson only generated one for timrom.ttf.
Nothing to keep you from generating one for your own favorite font. It was
written in May, 1996 for PovRay v3.0, so you will get the usual warning
messages about missing semi-colons and such, but nothing that keeps it from
working. Enough caveats?

Actually, places text on a circle or an arc, not a freeform curve.
