Hi,

Here's a scene file for viewing escape time fractals with normalized
(log) smoothing, with a way to plug in new formulas. Nine types are
provided, including a few new variations. Includes a number of other
features as well.

Happy Raytracing,

Sam

Thank you, Sam!
Now... a few months to understand the code...

You're welcome :)

I forgot to give credit to David Sharp. Without his illusion.inc, the
Glynn fractal would have been very difficult to figure out.

Attached is a simplified version, with comments. It's probably not so
different from what other people have been doing. Everything just fell
into place.

I should mention again that the basic setup was also used for the
Kaleidoscopic IFS fractals I posted a while back. I'm certain it can be
used for *any* escape time fractals...

OK, thanks for ruining my weekend, Sam. Next time you post addictive
source code, please use a password on the zip and don't tell me which it
is... ;)
