Hi!
For a scene I am working on, i need scuba divers. Is there anyone having
scuba divers for POV? I need them in various positions, accessories welcome,
too!
Thanks,
Sven

You may want to post this on general instead of this group.
Anyway you can download DAZ|Studio and the free DAZ human characters
(www.daz3d.com). Then in renderosity you can browse for this gallery and
dowload what you want
(http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/index.php?user_id=659)
When you setup your scuba divers in DAZ|Studio you can export the scene
and convert it to POV-Ray using PoseRay
(http://mysite.verizon.net/sfg0000/)
good luck,
FlyerX

Hi Flyer X,
I followed up your suggestion and downloaded DAZ. However, something seems
to be wrong - since more than 50 minutes the installer tries to expand the
file DAZ\Studio\content\data\blMilWorm_v3Lo_23... (name goes on), but
remains of the same progress stage. Did you got the same problem? Please let
me know.
It was the "DAZ|Studio Free Content (PC)" version I downloaded. There is
another version, called "DAZ|Studio 1.3.1 (PC)".
Greetings,
Sven

Moreover, since that installation attempt, my Internet connection behaves
somewhat strange... Took a while until I was able to connect again to this
newsgroup. Some online games refused to create their connections, and
graphics from a website were not been displayed...

Sven,
There is only one DAZ|Studio and it is the posing application
(DAZ|Studio 1.3.1). The other file is the free content for DAZ|Studio
and it is made up of a few free figures. Install DAZ|Studio first and
then the content. Both installers should work and usually finish in less
than a minute.
In some computers the content installer is slow because the file is
highly compressed and requires higher processing power than a simple
packed file. Obviously this will make any other application sluggish
until the file is completely extracted and installed.
good luck,
FlyerX

Your file may be corrupted. Sadly, it happens from time to time. Try to clear
your internet cache/temporary internet files, and doing another download.

I did. And I installed the other file version recommended by Flyer X.
Thanks! Now it works, and the Sven smiles! :-)
