I personally use TERRAIN MAKER (by Eric Jorgensen)
but i dont remember the web page adress. Try
using yahoo or ftp search

There's a great one called "Leveller" that is famous on
comp.graphics.rendering.raytracing.
Go to www.daylongraphics.com. It used to be freeware, but the author has put
so much work into it that it cant really continue to be free.
