Thanks.
I'm working on the brain bot positions that will wrap one of these processing
units. I massed out the part of the upper tanks and frame in Blender to get the
tentacles located.

Nice, kind of reminds me of your old "ionic5" scene (I believe that's yours
right?).

Yes, that's mine....blast from the past.
Attached was my original ideas for the POV panther creature. I added the lower
coiled creature as an afterthought. I was having fun with CTDS. :)

Hi Mike,

that's a GREAT blast from the past! Cool coiled creature!
Love your 'brewery tanks', too.

And yes, CTDS was (is) fun to use. You know that Truman Brown is still alive and
kicking? He's a 'Mandelbulber' and produced some mind-boggling video clips with
Mandelbulb.

Cheers, Droj

Thanks,
I did see Trumans Mandelbulb stuff...very cool.
I email him few months ago to see if CTDS had been re-compiled for Windows. I
ended up writing something similar for my own use.
Mike.

That's really neat, thanks for sharing it, always interesting to see
behind-the-scenes.

The coiled creature an afterthought ? It's the main creature of that
scene. It's the creature that makes that scene iconic.

The scene started as a panther on a floor, then I build the columns and walls
and added the coiled creature last because my test renderings were looking
boring, I think...it was 30 years ago. ;)

Hi Mike,

yeah, his stuff causes nausea!
Or you get that psychodelic feeling of the sixties ... <grin>

Would you mind sharing your 'homebrew' CTDS.
I suppose it would save me some/a lot of time 'cause otherwise I have to switch
to my MS DOS PC feed CTDS and take the output back to the 'real world' PC.

Cheers, Droj

Thanks Droj.
Yes, I can share my connect the dots process. It does require having Blender
installed. I posted a zip file that includes the start to a POV robotic fish
along with the Blender file and converter. There's a read me that somewhat
explains the process.
Best wishes,
mike.
