The coiled creature an afterthought ? It's the main creature of that 
scene. It's the creature that makes that scene iconic.

The scene started as a panther on a floor, then I build the columns and walls
and added the coiled creature last because my test renderings were looking
boring, I think...it was 30 years ago. ;)

Would you mind sharing your 'homebrew' CTDS.
I suppose it would save me some/a lot of time 'cause otherwise I have to switch
to my MS DOS PC feed CTDS and take the output back to the 'real world' PC.

Thanks Droj.
Yes, I can share my connect the dots process. It does require having Blender
installed. I posted a zip file that includes the start to a POV robotic fish
along with the Blender file and converter. There's a read me that somewhat
explains the process.
