I was discussing about this fractal yesterday with a friend but couldn't
remember its name. Luckily I remember its shape enough to be able to reproduce
it with Pov-Ray.
Does anyone here happen to know its name ?

So, someone could inform me: it's an Alexander horned sphere. And my memory was
faulty, there is a 90 degrees relative rotation between the left and right arms.
Still not too bad considering last time I've seen it was 20 years ago :-)

so glad you remembered (and posted) the name. I lost a pleasant hour or so on
Google Image searches, with search terms like "fractal horseshoe twist". :-)
