I caught this video recently:

and these things MUST be modeled.   ;)

It also introduced me to the concept of a "loft":

Seems like something we ought to have.
I think it would have to be all triangles....   but maybe it could be a df3
isosurface.

The texture is "super lazy".

texture {pigment {Red} normal {granite scale 0.1} finish {specular 0.4}}

:D

But it looks cool - like a patterned leather or something...
