So, I scrapped the whole alpha compositing math, and just went with intuition
and inspiration.
It's very close, but I feel that if I can get this close, I ought to be able to
find a way to make it an exact copy every time.
The cylinder on the left is just bozo scale 0.1
The cylinder on the right is 3 layered textures, red on top of green on top of
blue.
The red is a bit washed out, but you can see that the colors are all there, it's
the same pattern, and you can get white.
I've gotten pure colors, including white, but this is the closest I've gotten to
the whole pattern, so far.
