That's a nice image.

Those images reminds me of these:

https://www.google.com/search?q=tessellated+pavement&tbm=isch
https://www.google.com/search?q=hexagon+waterfall&tbm=isch
https://www.google.com/search?q=Giant%27s+Causeway&tbm=isch

- and perhaps some pillow lava formations, but those are more irregular.

Many Thanks for the links to this fantastic landscapes.
Up to now I was thinking of an abstract, but...

And I didn't knew Seaqn Days nice image 'Giants Causeway' was based on a real
landscape (https://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/giants-causeway/2450336/?p)

Regards
Norbert

Yes, and more than worth a visit - if you can avoid the tourists.... :-/

Personally, I am interested by the tessellated pavements which can lead
to interesting and sometimes fantastic landscapes. Formed by
semi-regular patterns of joints (fractures or cracks in rock not
accompanied by dislocation).
