I wondered why the Wikipedia articles about some sextics (6th degree
polynomials) don't have images, so I want to render some.
Unfortunately the formulas given in the articles did not work, so I
modified them and get some nice looking objects, I've attached here.
I hope you like them a bit.
I also animated them and uploaded the videos to my homepage (I don't
like Youtube and other data collecting companies ;-)). Surprisingly my
Firefox does not want to play the MP4 videos, but it played older videos
I created the same way.
Here are the old videos where both Ogg/Theora and MP4 works in Firefox:
http://roker.spamt.net/videos/pov/
here are the new videos where MP4 does not play (and the Ogg/Theora
looks worse than the MP4 with the same bitrate):
http://roker.spamt.net/pov/sextic/
I also added a lossless FFV1 video for your own encoding experiments, if
you want to help me. :-)

All the MP4s worked for me in Chrome and were high quality. The Theora
compression is, as you say, much worse than MP4.

I thought about trying to run the FFV1, but Windows complained about downloading
multiple files and I stopped.
