I thought it was pretty simple: in the USA (and Canada?), you say
"math"; in the rest of the world, it's "maths." Same idea as with
colo(u)r and alumin(i)um. It's not a controversy unless you choose to
make it one.
(With Canada, I'm never sure. They are linked to the UK, yet are so
much like USAmericans.)

But I do, I do :)
Actually it hurts my ears and offends my sensibilities to hear it. I
know that it is irrational but...

You won't make any friends with Canadians with that statement. ;)
And you know what you can do with your elected president over his
comments about London Bridge. Nothing personal but he has really, really
annoyed us as a nation. </aside

Go ahead, make it personal. I'll understand.

From what you have written before. It would be wrong of me.
And it is too off topic for this thread. Sorry.

Except for when it comes to using Queen's English. The company I work
for has an office in Vancouver, BC, and I've noticed that pretty much
everyone there uses UK English.
And if you think Canadians are nice, just tell them Hockey isn't really a
sport. They'll point you at the hockey riots from a few years back. :)

They don't like being reminded that it is a schoolgirl's game here. ;)

Oh, but it is! No one could touch the women's hockey team at my
university alma mater (Northeastern University).

I did some tests with the clock variable today and already got some nice zoom-in
sequences, so I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. :)
At the moment the comp is crunching a 36-frame thingy, so let's hope I'll have
something interesting and/or weird to post in a few days or so. :D

We look forward to seeing them. :)
BTW It is not a bad idea to display the clock variable, either on screen
or in a debug.txt file. So you can work around the files you like.
