Thanks. It is different from what I thought. The only photograph I have 
seen was treadle powered and the blade was a handheld chisel (a lathe). 
It was for getting the longest length of peel you could make. To win 
prizes at county fairs.
I actually tried to grab it with my mouse to see the side elevation. :)
